The Education Review Office (ERO) visits schools every 3 to 5 years and then writes a full report on the level of teaching and learning they observe. Our last ERO visit was in 2009. It was observed that:
“Students receive their education in an environment that fosters and values diversity while promoting pride in the college and respect for others. There are many instances of high quality teaching where effective use of differentiated programmes, together with settled classroom environments…”
In commenting on the achievement of our students, it was observed that:
“National Certificates of Educational Achievement data indicate that overall students continue to achieve significantly better results than for all schools nationally and better than those in the decile 8 to 10 band…”
