Wellington Girls’ College will prepare young women to go out into the world as independent thinkers with respect for themselves and others, the confidence to accept and respond to challenges, and an enduring passion for learning.

Goals
Our learning pedagogy
- To nurture bold & creative thinkers
- To be at the forefront of quality teaching & learning
- To support the development of our anytime/anywhere (asynchronous) learning environment
- To support staff with the alignment of NCEA
- To support lifelong learners
- To work with whanau to identify and develop focus areas for 2013 and beyond
- To improve the use of achievement information, in particular for MOE target groups – Maori, Pasifika and special learning needs
